  • Additional Driver

 

Allow anyone in the group to drive the rented car and give yourself the opportunity to enjoy the journey from the passenger’s seat. You can use the service anytime during your car rental for just €4 + VAT/rental day for each driver1.

  • Children Safety Seat




Ensure your children’s safety during your journey by including a baby seat in your car rental for just €4+VAT/rental day2. We provide 3 different groups of child seats:

  • Children security seat category 0+/1: Ideal for children with weight between 0 -18 kg.
  • Group 1/2/3: Ideal for children weighing between 9 -36 kg.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
All baby seats provided by Thrifty are certified according to the European Safety Rules ECE 44/04.

  • GPS Navigator



Find your way around when traveling to a new destination by including a GPS in your car rental for just a small extra fee of €8 + VAT/rental day3.

Each of the provided GPS includes:

• Detailed roadmaps of every location in the Democratic Republic of Cyprus (the Nothern part is not included).
• Voice instructions in over 10 languages.
• 5-inch color touch screen.

  • Insurances

Every car rental with Thrifty includes collision damage waiver and a 24/7 road assistance from Anytime. However, you always expect the unexpected..Fortunately Thrifty has a range of optional extra insurances to travel with peace of mind!

Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW): Reduce your liability to a minimum charge, according to the car group you have picked, by paying an additional small fee in the price of CDW.

*The renter must have previously accepted the relevant coverage charges for CDW, SCDW, and TP.

No additional insurance covers the following: Damage to the underside of the car, wheels and tires, broken car windows or loss of vehicle keys and documents, damage to the clutch, any damage due to lack of oil or as a result of incorrect fuel use, damage on the vehicle by intentional explosion or burning, damage caused by the influence of alcohol or drugs, damage caused by an unauthorized driver

Theft Protection (TP)4: Choose Theft Protection to reduce your financial responsibility in case of theft of the rented car to a minimum charge, based on the car group you have chosen.

Personal Accident Coverage (PAC): For a charge of €5 (+VAT)/rental day, Thrifty covers you in case of an accident for the following cases. Maximum charge is for 15 days:

Medical expenses Up to €1,000 / passenger.

1 Each additional driver must hold a valid driving license for at least a year, issued in Cyprus, the European Union or be a holder of a valid International Driving Permit (IDP).
2 Maximum charge per baby seat rental €40 (+ VAT).
3 Maximum charge per rental €80 (+ VAT).
4 Theft Protection does not cover theft of personal belongings from the rented car.
5 Aggregate indemnity for every accident is limited to €15,000.
